Basketry
Baskets at many nations are derived from many reservations and are made from many
materials including river cane, spruce root, black ash, sweet grass, white oak, and honeysuckle, and are woven
by the Makah, Paiute, Karrok, Delaware, Sioux, Cherokee, Mohawk and Mickmack, or by people from other nations.
Our baskets are both antique and contemporary. Many are one hundred years of age or older. Some are open weave while others are tigthly woven
with lids. All are unique pieces.
